About Jana Rifkin
About Jana Rifkin, the owner of “A-List” Party Staffing Service. Jana was born and raised in Southern
California, growing up in the San Fernando Valley.
Her first experiences in the service industry were working as a hostess at several restaurants
during high school and college. The most memorable time she had was working in a restaurant at The
Glen Center during her college years. They served many celebrity customers.
Jana has continued to work a full-time corporate job and at least two other jobs for the past twelve years
to take care of her family. Working in the corporate world has enabled her to deal
with many types of people, personalities and situations.
Jana spent over six years working in the night club industry for one of the most well known establishments
in West Hollywood dealing with many types of personalities as well as many celebrity customers. She was
part of the staff for many private parties including circuit parties from 200-5,000 people. Jana was
employed with an event planner for two years running the office and booking vendors for corporate clients.
She was the lead at company picnics. She handled registration, scheduled and hired staff for all events
from company picnics and business lunches to corporate holiday parties. Jana’s employment in the
service industry for the past several years has been for a local Staffing company as a second job and real
passion. She has had the pleasure of working with many high end clients in their homes in Palos Verdes,
Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Laguna Niguel, Beverly Hills, Encino and many
other local cities.
After working for others over the years, Jana decided to start her own party staffing company. She
named it “A-List” Party Staffing Service because she wanted to stand out from the others in the
industry. Her specialty is working with private clients in their homes and private event spaces.
“A-List” Party Staffing Service personalizes your event by bringing a gift to you from us and we use only
the best staff in the industry. Jana still works many of her own events. This allows her to get to know her
employees along with their work abilities.
Jana opened the doors to her staffing company during the 2004 holiday season and was extremely busy.
“A-List” Party Staffing Service handled several corporate holiday events from 250-1,500 guests with their
fantastic staff. “A-List” Party Staffing Service was able to hire out extra staff for local event planners as
well as send out bartenders and wait staff for several private parties. “A-List” Party Staffing Service was
very successful and left each client very impressed.
